Saturday Market's Holiday Market - 2009
It's time to look forward to the 2008 holiday season! The Holiday Market is alive with activity: browsing, buying, selling, trading, exchanging information, meeting friends, eating lunch, listening to and playing music. All these and more activities are going on simultaneously. Children and older people alike enjoy the selling and visiting at the Market. There is a true mixture of ages, incomes and lifestyles meeting with ease and pleasure. The Saturday Holiday Market is the place to find that perfect holiday gift!

Springfield Christmas Parade
In its 57th year, the Springfield Christmas Parade is a time-honored community tradition the Springfield citizens anticipate every year. It has gained the notable reputation of being the "oldest and coldest" (and sometimes "wettest") parade in Oregon. There have been years of sunny and dry weather, but so far the "damper and frostier" reputation still maintains. It's the Springfield Community Spirit at its best - from parade participants to parade watchers to holiday spirit to the Christmas music to the cold and happy faces to the waving hands to the marching bands and so much more!

Kicking off the Corvallis holiday season...
This fun and festive event has become the traditional kick-off to the Corvallis holiday season. Shops will stay open late and offer exciting discounts to ticket holders, who will also enjoy an evening of fine-food samplings from over 30 local restaurants and caterers, a specially-created signature dessert, wine, beer, Pepsi beverages, and Starbucks coffee. Live musical performances in several downtown locations will add to the joyful holiday atmosphere throughout the evening. Attractions will include a silent auction of a wonderful array of items. Popular Assistance League packaged foods and other specialty items will be for sale.
Renowned local artist Jan Roberts-Dominguez has created an original painting that will provide the visual theme for the event. This beautiful artwork will be available for purchase in the form of limited-edition prints, lovely porcelain ornaments, boxed holiday cards, and note cards.
If you participate in the Snowflake Drawing at Winter's Eve, you can win a basket of treasures and treats. All you have to do is visit five participating stores to get your ticket booklet stamped, turn in your entry form, and hope you're the lucky winner whose name is drawn.
The $35 ticket booklet containing the admission ticket and discount coupons is available (beginning on November 1st) at The Inkwell Home Store, Rice's Pharmacy, Borders Books Music and Café, and The Clothes Tree. The price will be $40 when purchased the night of the event. A limited number of tickets will be sold.
