36th Annual Aquafina Butte To Butte
Join us for a holiday tradition that's the biggest and the best running and walking event of the year in Eugene. There's something for everyone, from elite runners to casual walkers, from families to businesses, and from youngsters to seniors!

Both events start at Spencer Butte Middle School and finish at Skinner Butte Park in Eugene, Oregon. The 10K course begins at 43rd & Donald St with the traditional charge up the Donald Street hill to the 1 mile mark, followed by a downhill run on Fox Hollow to the 2.2 mile mark, while the final 4 miles are flat to the finish. The 4.5 Mile Mayor's Fitness Walk starts on 43rd heading east to Fox Hollow and then joins the 10K course - the walk is entirely flat, bypassing the Donald Street hill.

Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three in each age group and the top three teams in each division and category. All participants will be eligible for random prize drawings. Special awards will also be presented to the top Youth (under 20), Masters (40 & over), Seniors (60 & over), and King and Queen of the Downhill (at the 1 mile mark) and Uphill (at the 2.2 mile mark). The top three male and female finishers will also receive prize money.

Willamette Valley 30K Walk n' Relay
The Willamette Valley 30K Walk 'n Relay is a variation on the long distance Willamette Valley Relay. Come walk solo or as a team member for a great day of fun, challenge, camaraderie, & safety - all on bike paths of Eugene and Alton Baker Park. Bring your friends, family, & associates and take on the challenge.

If you enjoy long distance walking, you can do the 30 km (18.6 miles) as a solo performance. If you prefer the dynamics of team work, you may select team sizes of 2 - 6 members. As with our other events, we will offer divisions which include Walk Our Way and competitive.

Come prepared for fun activities for your teammates and your families to enjoy at the center (start and finish in Alton Baker Park, Eugene) of the relay legs.

Run In The Country
250 runners, walkers and relay teams toed the line on a warm sunny morning at the Coburg Run In the Country Half Marathon on Sunday July 13, 2008. They finished the "town mile" quickly and headed out for their run in the country.

The race directors work hard to make the Run In The Country a runner-friendly event with an on-time start, 6 well-staffed enthusiastic aid stations, each mile accurately marked, accurate professional timing, medals for all finishers, some nice raffle prizes, awards 3 deep in 5 year age groups, a free free kids fun run, and a high quality tech shirt with a professionally designed race logo. Net proceeds from the race are directed toward youth health and fitness programs, mainly those groups that provide volunteers for the race.

REI Peak Challenge
Presented by REI in Eugene, this is the second leg of the Butte Triple Crown Series. Participants do not need to compete in all three Butte series events to participate - everyone is welcome. A unique event that is both scenic and challenging, supporting First Place.

The 5K course will start at REI Eugene (3rd & Lawrence), proceed north on Lawrence to Cheshire, east to Skinner Butte Loop, ascend the Butte, loop back down for a short tour through Skinner Butte Park, and head to the finish at REI Eugene. Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three in each age group. All participants will be eligible for random prize drawings.

Kelly Butte Classic
The third leg of the Butte Triple Crown Series. A unique event that offers a challenging course, scenic terrain and a festive atmosphere. This event features an 8K (4.97 mile) and a 5K (3.1 mile).

The 8K course will start and finish at Eastgate Woodlands Park, winding along neighborhood streets and up Kelly Butte. The climbing portion of the course is from approximately .5 mile to 1.2 miles, followed by a rolling descent and a flat stretch for the last 3 miles of the race. Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three in each age group. All participants will be eligible for random prize drawings.

Tri-Trail Challenge
Looking for a unique trail running event? - This is it! Challenge yourself by running all three phases (7K, 1K & 3K), or run only one or two of them. Participants competing in the three-phase challenge will receive overall and age group points from each phase, added for a grand total - final places are not based upon time. Participants competing in only one or two of the event phases will compete for awards based upon finish time. Particpants in the three-phase competition will wear regular bib numbers on the front, and a second bib number on the back, indicating their age. Three-phase challenge runners will start the 1K in 15 second intervals in the order they finished the 7K. The start time for the 7K is exact, while the start times for the 1K and 3K will vary based upon the number of participants.

Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three in each age group in the three-phase challenge. Participants competing in only one or two of the three phases will compete for awards in each group - participants competing in two phases will only be eligible for one award but will be listed in both phase results. The top three teams in each category and division will receive awards.

Pre's Trail X-C Challenge
Here it is, the cross country event you've been waiting for. Experience Pre's Trail in a unique event that features age and ability divisions, hay bale obstacles and the most scenic race around. Proceeds support the maintenance of Pre's Trail, following the extensive restoration effort of the past several years.

The courses are flat, fast and scenic, along Pre's Trail, with hay bale jumps, through Alton Baker Park. Awards will be presented in each race to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three in each age group. All participants will be eligible for random prize drawings.

28th Annual Turkey Stuffer
This is great way to prepare for that Thanksgiving Day meal. If the Run or Walk doesn't work up an appetite, then exercise a little more after the "Stuffer" with a free swim at Willamalane Parks & Recreation Splash Wave Pool. Course loops through Thurston residential neighborhood. This will be a DAG chip timed race, but times will be based on gun time. The disposable chip will be on the back of the race bib in a plastic pouch. You will be asked to return the chip only, not the race bib, after completing the event. More details will be posted soon.
