Art Ettina
Ettina EmcVonEakin was born in Eugene, Oregon on March 5th 1969. She's lived in Lincoln City; Oregon, Bainbridge Island; Washington, Shelton; Washington, and Park City; Utah. Ettina lived in Salt Lake City, Utah for the past 16 years and now has returned to Eugene Oregon the end of September 2008.

At a very early age she was always interested in art, engaged in art, and usually drawing or sketching. She also sculpted in ice cream and mashed potatoes whenever possible or stared into the abyss. During her last days of high school she was granted seven consecutive art classes. Once leaving high school she took a pre press art position. Later she moved back to Park City Utah (were she lived off and on as a child). In Park City Ettina held transitional jobs and briefly joined the Park City Artist Association. She soon moved to Salt Lake City and found another pre press art position. In 1993 she started a family and became self employed. She is currently a full time artist. She began selling oil paintings the end of 2005 and has sold over 100 online alone. She has collectors all over the USA and a couple other countries (Malta, Australia).

I specialize in Oils on panel in a classical realism style. I love painting the things I love... birds, seascapes, sunsets, grapevines, rasberries, bees, Butterfly's, animals, fruit and still life items. If my work isn't stunningly beautiful then it's not done. I also started my new mini pet sculptures, they are mostly of birds, mixed media using Bonewear Clays oils and feathers.

Avery Anderson
Having spent the first half of my life working with animals (veterinary technician, wildlife rehabber and dog trainer), I have since had the opportunity as a self taught artist to develop a personal style of expression through my glass work. Both of my parents were involved in the arts and were the owners of three different galleries. It was through this exposure my love for glass evolved.

After raising a family, I was finally able to pursue this love on a full-time basis. I enrolled in many art and design courses, and have studied various glass techniques over the past 25 years. My work can be found from coast to coast, in galleries and as installations in private homes. It has appeared in numerous juried competitions and exhibitions. It has also been featured in several publications including "Contemporary Warm Glass", "Contemporary Glass: Color, Light and Form", "Words and Images", as well as "Glass Art", "Glass Craftsman", "Phoenix Magazine", "Cowboys and Indians", "The Crafts Report", and "Best of America Glass Artists and Artisans".

My chosen medium and passion is glass. I work in almost all aspects of it but find my obsession to be "fusing." I am constantly pushing the edge for more complex and creative work in this medium. Techniques such as sandblasting, airbrushing, silk-screening, photo resist and working with precious metals and luster's are incorporated into my pieces. Original drawings, done in pen and ink, as well as paintings with glass enamels are featured in my pieces.

Blue Lily Jewelry Design
I have been creating jewelry for about ten years now. I make all of the earwires, hoops, necklace clasps, etc. using sterling silver wire. All of my necklaces are made with adjustable length clasps. This not only allows the necklace to look great with more of your wardrobe but also creates a pretty little chain that dangles, so it looks great from the front and the back!

If you live in the Eugene area and would like to see my work in person you can find some of my jewelry in Sweet Potato Pie, Imagine Gallery and Emerald City Jewelers in downtown Eugene. If you're in the Bend/Redmond area you can find my work at Collage gallery and gift boutique in Redmond.

My jewelry is greatly insipred by nature. The colors and textures in my necklaces are often inspired by the leaves on the forest floor or the stones on a beach. My Flow earrings and Spiral earrings especially are designed with the movement of water in mind. They reflect the flow of a tiny faerie stream through tree roots and the tiny pools and eddys in these woodland streams.

Video Editing and Production

As an artist/videographer, my goal is to create visually compelling, profound and socially relevant documents. As digital technology advances, our ability to rapidly capture and disseminate information increases, putting tools for education and social change literally at our fingertips. I feel a keen sense of responsibility to use this medium conscientiously, with an eye towards honesty, enlightenment, inspiration and poetry.

Throughout my life I have searched for meaning and endeavored to engage in work that resonated with my political and spiritual beliefs. It is my hope that in my own work and in my collaboration with you, I will continue this process.

Charcoal Zen
Charcoal Drawings by James Franssen

I've always been interested in artistic things since I can remember. I can recall, as a baby, looking through my crib bars at a tapestry my Mom had hanging on the wall and just being in awe. I can recall how some paintings brought out strong feelings and influenced how I looked at life and everything around me.

I am a portrait artist who has lived in Eugene for 14 years. I primarily do portraits in charcoal, but I'm currently experimenting in sculpting with clay, and painting with acrylics. I draw portraits, by commission, from photographs. Many of my drawings can take up to 14 hours to finish, and I prefer to draw from photographs since I wouldn't expect someone (or someone's pet) to sit for that long.

I often have a vendors booth at art festivals, horse shows, dog shows, cat shows, or any other venue that will lend well toward what I do. Sometimes people will walk up to me and give me a photograph on commission, but it is just as easy to send one to me through email. I guarantee my work, as well.

Courtney Christianson
Images, Sculptures & Video
My art practice began when I was a young child, but I received my formal education from the University of Oregon Digital Arts program, where I achieved my bachelor's degree. Aside from Digital Arts classes, I also had a strong interest in sculpture and attended many classes pertaining to wood and metal working. I received additional training and experience in wood and metal working through several jobs related to those fields. I am interested in all types of media, and I am always experimenting with new and different materials to expand my knowledge and skill sets.

My goal is to combine different types of media in new and exciting ways that will engage the viewer's curiosity about their materiality. In this way I feel that my work will be ever-changing and fresh as a result of the constantly evolving nature of technology and materials. Aside from material studies I am interested in conceptual investigations of Phenomenology and Existentialism. These investigations realize themselves in many different ways and mediums throughout my artwork.
